High-resolution portable holocamera
IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, 1971The design, construction, and testing of a portable hologram microscope are described. The instrument is based on a small, reliable, pulsed ruby laser to avoid the degrading effects of vibration; the instrument weighs 7.9 kg and measures 30.5 cm x 33 cm x 15.5 cm.

Groundwater, 2005
Abstract The hydraulic conductivity ( K ) variation has important ramifications for ground water flow and the transport of contaminants in ground water. The delineation of the nature of that variation can be critical to complete characterization of a site and the planning of

Dry, High Resolution Autoradiography
Stain Technology, 1962Microtomed sections of freeze-dried, paraffin-embedded tissues are placed on pieces of thin sheet-Teflon backed by a felt pad. The sections are then pressure-mounted on dry photographic emulsion. After suitable exposure, the sections are firmly cemented to the emulsion with 0.45% cellulose acetate in a 10:1 mixture of 2-butanone and acetone.

HIGH‐RESOLUTION PARATHYROID SONOGRAPHY
Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound, 1997The purpose of this study was to assess the diagnostic utility of parathyroid ultrasonography to differentiate causes of hypercalcemia in dogs. We analyzed qualitative and quantitative ultrasound imaging findings and clinical pathology data from 33 dogs that underwent parathyroid ultrasound examination as part of the diagnostic evaluation for ...

High Resolution Stereo Microscopy
Confocal, Multiphoton, and Nonlinear Microscopic Imaging II, 2005A standard method in confocal microscopy to form an extended focus image is to merely add together (integrate) a number of optical sections taken throughout the specimen volume of interest. If we use this method in a conventional microscope the image that results is of rather poor quality.

High resolution stereoscopic imaging
Applied Optics, 1983In the usual method of stereoscopic imaging by observation at two different angles the resolution obtainable is poor. By imaging in a confocal scanning optical microscope with two different angles of observation the resolution is substantially improved. The method is applicable to phase and amplitude objects.

Chromatography is nearly always the method of choice for the analysis of complex mixtures. Chromatography alone, however, is often inadequate; it is frequently necessary to use a hyphenated procedure in which chromatography is used for separation of the mixture into pure substances and then mass spectrometry, infrared spectroscopy, or some other ...

High-Resolution MR Cholangiopancreatography
Critical Reviews in Diagnostic Imaging, 19981. High-resolution MRCP is a noninvasive imaging modality for depicting the pancreatobiliary tree. The imaging quality of high-resolution MRCP is satisfactory. MRCP can demonstrate dilation, stenosis, and intraductal filling defects of both the biliary tract and the pancreatic duct, which meets the clinical demand for pancreatobiliary imaging. 2.

Practising high-resolution anoscopy
Sexual Health, 2012The incidence of anal cancer is increasing in the general population among both men and women. The incidence is particularly high among men who have sex with men and HIV-infected men and women. Anal cancer is similar to cervical cancer and is associated with human papillomavirus (HPV).

High resolution hadron calorimetry
Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment, 1988The components that contribute to the signal of a hadron calorimeter and the factors that affect its performance are discussed, concentrating on two aspects: energy resolution and signal linearity. Both are decisively dependent on the relative response to the electromagnetic and the nonelectromagnetic shower components, the e/h signal ratio, which ...
