Golgi enzymes are retrieved from the plasma membrane to the trans‐Golgi network
Golgi enzymes are traditionally considered resident proteins retained within the Golgi apparatus. Here, we demonstrate that a subset transiently reaches the cell surface and is subsequently retrieved to the trans‐Golgi network via retrograde transport. Using a nanobody‐based toolkit, we uncover a dynamic trafficking cycle of several Golgi enzymes.

High-Pressure-Limit and Pressure-Dependent Rate Rules for Intramolecular Cyclization Reactions of α,β-Hydroxyl Hydroperoxyalkyl Radicals [PDF]
The cyclization reaction class of hydroxyl hydroperoxyalkyl radicals is one of the crucial reaction classes in low-temperature combustion mechanism of alcohols and alkenes.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

High pressure technology in the manufacture of minimally-processed meat products [PDF]
End of Project ReportHigh hydrostatic pressure processing was applied to raw minced meat prior to product formulation and the results indicate that with 50 MPa pressure it was possible to reduce the salt in frankfurters from 2.5% to 1.5% without ...

Crystal structure of the high-pressure phase of the oxonitridosilicate chloride Ce4[Si4O3 + xN7 − x]Cl1 − xOx, x≃0.2 [PDF]
The structural compression mechanism of Ce4[Si4O3 + xN7 − x]Cl1 − xOx, x≃ 0.2, was investigated by in situ single-crystal synchrotron X-ray diffraction at pressures of 3.0, 8.5 and 8.6 GPa using the diamond–anvil cell technique.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

High-Pressure–High-Temperature Processing Reduces Maillard Reaction and Viscosity in Whey Protein–Sugar Solutions [PDF]
The aim of the study was to determine the influence of pressure in high-pressure–high-temperature (HPHT) processing on Maillard reactions and protein aggregation of whey protein–sugar solutions. Solutions of whey protein isolate containing either glucose

High-Pressure, High-Temperature Synthesis and Characterization of Polar and Magnetic LuCrWO6 [PDF]
A new polar and magnetic oxide, LuCrWO6, was synthesized under high pressure (6 GPa) and high temperature (1673 K). LuCrWO6 is isostructural with the previously reported polar YCrWO6 (SG: Pna21, no. 33). The ordering of CrO6 and WO6 octahedra in the edge-

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
