Estimation of grassland use intensities based on high spatial resolution LAI time series [PDF]
The identification and surveillance of agricultural management and the measurement of biophysical canopy parameters in grasslands is relevant for environmental protection as well as for political and economic reasons, as proper grassland management is ...

A high time-resolution pitch detector [PDF]
A very high time-resolution pitch detector is proposed. Pitch periods can be very exactly obtained from each pitch. In the frequency domain, the magnitude of second harmonic of voiced speech is 10 dB larger than the fundamental magnitude at most. Therefore the fundamental component is made into the strongest one through a 20-dB/oct FIR low-pass filter.

ABSTRACT Background B‐acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, and while most children in high‐resource settings are cured, therapy carries risks for long‐term toxicities. Understanding parents’ concerns about these late effects is essential to guide anticipatory support and inform evolving therapeutic approaches ...

PIPELINE SIGNAL PROCESSING WITH HIGH RESOLUTION IN BOTH TIME AND FREQUENCY DOMAINS
An algorithm for real time signal processing with high accuracy of determining both frequency and time characteristics of RF signals is proposed. The algorithm provides frequency resolution through FFT processing and pulse width measurement in time ...

Multipoint, high time resolution galactic cosmic ray observations associated with two interplanetary coronal mass ejections [PDF]
[1] Galactic cosmic rays (GCRs) play an important role in our understanding of the interplanetary medium (IPM). The causes of their short timescale variations, however, remain largely unexplored. In this paper, we compare high time resolution, multipoint

ABSTRACT Bone tumours present significant challenges for affected patients, as multimodal therapy often leads to prolonged physical limitations. This is particularly critical during childhood and adolescence, as it can negatively impact physiological development and psychosocial resilience.

A minute-resolution downscaling algorithm for high-resolution global irradiance time series
Numerous studies have demonstrated the significant impact of the resolution of solar irradiation data on the outcomes of hourly production models. Accurate integration of photovoltaic (PV) systems sometimes demands a high-resolution global horizontal ...

Assessing the Within-Field Heterogeneity Using Rapid-Eye NDVI Time Series Data
(1) Background: The relation between the sub-field heterogeneity of soil properties and high-resolution satellite time series data might help to explain spatiotemporal patterns of crop growth, but detailed field studies are seldom.

High-Speed High-Resolution Terahertz Time-Domain Spectrometer
High-speed high-resolution terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) is demonstrated using the asynchronous-opticalsampling (AOS) method. A time-domain signal with a 10-ns time window is rapidly acquired by using two femtosecond lasers with slightly different repetition frequencies to generate and detect a terahertz pulse wave, without a mechanical ...
