Turbogenerator with high voltage stator windings

No.01EX501), 2002In this paper the design of a turbogenerator with high voltage stator winding is presented. In distinction from conventional techniques the stator winding is not built with isolated bars. For this concept, common high voltage cables are used. Therefore it is possible to raise the stator voltage from 110 kV to 400 kV.
