Sampling NNLO QCD phase space with normalizing flows
We showcase the application of neural importance sampling for the evaluation of NNLO QCD scattering cross sections. We consider Normalizing Flows in the form of discrete Coupling Layers and time continuous flows for the integration of the various cross ...

A Feynman integral depending on two elliptic curves
We study a two-loop four-point function with one internal mass. This Feynman integral is one of the simplest Feynman integrals depending on two elliptic curves. We transform the associated differential equation into an ε-form. We study the entries of the

One-loop off-shell quark-gluon vertex in arbitrary gauge and dimensions: A streamlined approach through the second-order formalism of QCD [PDF]
The standard Feynman rules used for perturbative calculations in quantum chromodynamics (QCD) are derived from a Lagrangian that is first-order in derivatives. It includes a three-point quark-gluon vertex which obscures the precise disentangled manner in

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Order-v 4 corrections to heavy quark fragmentation to S-wave heavy quarkonium
Within the framework of nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics (NRQCD) factorization, we compute the O v 4 $$ \mathcal{O}\left({v}^4\right) $$ relativistic corrections to the fragmentation of a heavy quark into the color-singlet S 0 1 1 $$ {}^1{S}_0 ...

Baikov representations, intersection theory, and canonical Feynman integrals
The method of canonical differential equations is an important tool in the calculation of Feynman integrals in quantum field theories. It has been realized that the canonical bases are closely related to d-dimensional d log-form integrands. In this work,

Non-leptonic B-decays in and beyond QCD factorisation [PDF]
This thesis examines the non-leptonic B-decays within QCD factorization and beyond, to challenge the assumptions and limitations of the method. We analyse the treatment of the distribution amplitudes of light mesons and present a new model described by ...

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Triple-gauge couplings in LHC diboson production: a SMEFT view from every angle
This study explores fully leptonic WZ and WW production at the LHC within the SMEFT framework at NLO in QCD, focusing on both CP-even and CP-odd triple-gauge-coupling dimension-six operators.

Perturbative QCD studies of multijet structures in electron-positron annihilation [PDF]
To investigate the effect in perturbative QCD of multigluon emissions on the transverse momentum distributions of multijet final states in electron-positron annihilation, we use a simplified model based on the approximation that gluons are emitted ...
