In this work, we described three new endemic species of Namib Day geckos (Rhoptropus) from the northern Benguela Province, highlighting the importance of this region as an important center of endemism. ABSTRACT Angola remains one of the least explored countries in Africa, and several groups of reptiles still require taxonomic and phylogenetic revision.

ABSTRACT Difficulties in both duration and beat‐based time perception are common in individuals with dyslexia (DD). It is also known that internalised beat cues may aid in duration processing. This study investigated whether the difficulties in duration processing among DD stem from their inability to utilise internal beat cues.

In this study on Madeira Island, we investigated patterns and drivers of alpha and beta taxonomic, functional, and phylogenetic diversity along elevational gradients. We found that alpha and beta diversity of bryophytes are more strongly influenced by climatic factors and the predominant type of vegetation than by anthropogenic factors.

In the highest tributaries of the Upper Garonne Basin, Central Pyrenees, cirques up to 2600 m a.s.l. were already deglaciated by 15–14 ka. The long‐term deglaciation during Termination‐1 (T‐1) was interrupted by glacial advances within the cirques during the Bølling–Allerød (B‐A) interstadial and the Younger Dryas stadial.
