Three New Endemic Species of Namib Day Geckos (Gekkonidae: Rhoptropus) From the Namibe Province, Angola

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 7, July 2025.
In this work, we described three new endemic species of Namib Day geckos (Rhoptropus) from the northern Benguela Province, highlighting the importance of this region as an important center of endemism. Adults With Dyslexia Use Internalised Beat Cues Less Than Controls When Estimating Interval Length

open access: yesDyslexia, Volume 31, Issue 1, February 2025.

Ecological drivers of taxonomic, functional, and phylogenetic diversity of bryophytes in an oceanic island

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2024.
In this study on Madeira Island, we investigated patterns and drivers of alpha and beta taxonomic, functional, and phylogenetic diversity along elevational gradients. We found that alpha and beta diversity of bryophytes are more strongly influenced by climatic factors and the predominant type of vegetation than by anthropogenic factors.

Geomorphological record of the glacial to periglacial transition from the Bølling–Allerød to the Holocene in the Central Pyrenees: the Lòcampo cirque in the regional context

open access: yesBoreas, Volume 53, Issue 1, Page 71-87, January 2024.
In the highest tributaries of the Upper Garonne Basin, Central Pyrenees, cirques up to 2600 m a.s.l. were already deglaciated by 15–14 ka. The long‐term deglaciation during Termination‐1 (T‐1) was interrupted by glacial advances within the cirques during the Bølling–Allerød (B‐A) interstadial and the Younger Dryas stadial.
