High capacity multi‐bit data hiding based on modified histogram shifting technique

open access: yesETRI Journal, 2018
A novel data hiding technique based on modified histogram shifting that incorporates multi‐bit secret data hiding is proposed. The proposed technique divides the image pixel values into embeddable and nonembeddable pixel values.

Reversible Multiple Items Authentication Scheme for WSNs

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this article, a reversible authentication scheme for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is proposed aimed at multiple items authentication and good imperception of transmitted data. Firstly, the WSNs data stream is divided into some authentication groups,

Correlating Fiber Quality Assurance Tests for the NOvA Far Detector Modules [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Neutrinos have perplexed the minds of particle physicists for over half a decade. Because they are massless and weakly interacting, detecting these leptons has been a challenging feat.

Germanane Quantum Dots Promote Metabolic Reprogramming of Immune Cells Toward Regulatory T Cells and Suppress Inflammation In Vitro and In Vivo

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metabolic changes in immune cells direct the phenotype and function of the host immune system. Smart nanomaterials must target metabolic pathways to direct immune cell fate. This study reports the fabrication and first application of germanane quantum dots (GeHQDs) to modulate inflammation in vitro and in vivo.

Nonlinear Interferometry via Fock State Projection

open access: yes, 2006
We use a photon-number resolving detector to monitor the photon number distribution of the output of an interferometer, as a function of phase delay. As inputs we use coherent states with mean photon number up to seven.

Tuning the Selectivity of the CO2 Reduction Reaction by Means of Synergistic Interactions in the Cu, Ag, Ce System

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Multi‐metal Cu─Ce─Ag nanoparticles harness synergistic interactions to drive efficient electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction toward C2+ products at high current densities. Ag enhances CO production, Ce modulates Cu oxidation states, and together they boost *CO coverage and local pH to enhance C─C coupling, enabling record C2+ yields with suppressed ...

Broadband, Flexible, Skin‐Compatible Carbon Dots/Graphene Photodetectors for Wearable Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Broadband, flexible photodetectors integrating nitrogen‐rich carbon dots with single‐layer graphene on plastic substrates are demonstrated. A biocompatible chitosan–glycerol electrolyte enables efficient low‐voltage gating and on‐skin operation. The devices exhibit ultraviolet‐to‐near‐infrared response, mechanical robustness under bending, and verified

Reversible Data Hiding Exploiting Variance in Wavelet Coefficients

open access: yesJournal of Computer Science and Technology, 2011
In this paper, we present a new reversible data hiding scheme that utilizes the wavelet transform and better exploits the large wavelet coefficient variance to achieve high capacity and imperceptible embedding.
