ADAPT: An Autonomous Forklift for Construction Site Operation
ABSTRACT Efficient material logistics are critical in controlling costs and schedules in the construction industry. However, manual material handling remains prone to inefficiencies, delays, and safety risks. Autonomous forklifts offer a solution to streamline on‐site logistics, reducing reliance on human operators and mitigating labor shortages.

ABSTRACT Education is a cornerstone of sustainable development, yet large disparities in access persist across and within countries—particularly in Africa, where millions remain underserved. Among several factors influencing educational participation, physical accessibility to schools (in terms of travel time) is not comprehensively understood ...

World Models for Robotic Manipulation: A Survey
World models enable robots to anticipate how candidate actions may alter object configurations, contact states, and scene geometry before physical execution. This survey examines world models for robotic manipulation as action‐conditioned predictive systems and organizes the literature according to predicted representations, interfaces between ...

World models let robots imagine alternative futures, such as successfully grasping a glass or dropping it, but visual plausibility alone does not establish trustworthiness. Here, the authors review structural constraint, reality anchoring, and trust adjudication as complementary mechanisms for shaping generation, grounding predictions in real evidence,

A Versatile Heterometallic Microporous MOF for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Generation
This work describes a green and scalable approach to robust and flexible heterometallic MOFs, MIP‐215's, with tunable photoactivity for efficient, noble‐metal‐free solar hydrogen production. ABSTRACT Photocatalytic particulate systems offer a cost‐effective solar hydrogen production but are generally limited by narrow visiblelight absorption and poor ...

Metal‐Iodide‐Mediated CVT Growth of Form V Red Phosphorus Wires
AgI‐mediated chemical vapor transport enables on‐substrate growth of high‐aspect‐ratio red‐phosphorus wire‐like nanostructures, including multiple individual wires indexed to single‐crystalline Form V by transmission electron microscopy/selected area electron diffraction (TEM/SAED).

A slightly buckled 2D kagome metal‐organic framework (MOF) adsorbed on Ag(111) hosts localized spins which are Kondo‐screened by the underlying metal substrate. Using the tip of a scanning tunneling microscope, the MOF can be vertically manipulated to controllably change its adsorption height and with it, the Kondo coupling strength.

[2,2′‐biisoindoline]‐1,1′,3,3′‐tetraone (4A2B) crystal with high n‐electrons undergoes photo‐induced reversible homolysis resulting in two room‐temperature phosphorescence (RTP). One of the 4A2B molecules responds strongly to 250 nm via fast intersystem crossing (ISC) processes among high‐lying excited states.

We developed a lipophilic near‑infrared probe (DCIP‑AcGal) that is specifically activated by senescence‑associated β‑galactosidase. After intravenous injection, it lights up therapy‑induced tumor senescence in living mice. Its optimized lipophilicity also enables blood‑brain barrier crossing to detect natural brain senescence ex vivo. This probe offers
