HLA DRB1* ASSOCIATION WITH REPRODUCTIVE DISORDERS IN WOMEN

open access: yesМедицинская иммунология, 2014
. HLA DRB1* gene associations with idiopathic fetal losses and infertility were studied in women. It was shown that idiopathic fetal losses are associated with HLA DRB1*04 specificity, whereas infertility correlated with HLA DRB1*04/07 genotype.

Engineered Exosomal miR‐146a‐5p Reprograms BMSC Fate and Restores Mitochondrial Homeostasis in Glucocorticoid‐Induced Osteonecrosis of Femoral Head

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Exosomal miR‐146a‐5p is identified as a pivotal regulator in steroid‐induced osteonecrosis. Its reduction activates NF‐κB signaling, compromises mitophagy, and disrupts mitochondrial bioenergetics, resulting in autophagic disequilibrium. Engineered exosomes delivering miR‐146a‐5p reinstate mitochondrial function, augment oxidative phosphorylation and ...

Allosteric Inhibition of Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 by an EZH2‐Selective Small Molecule Inhibitor

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study characterizes C36, a highly selective EZH2/PRC2 inhibitor that acts via a novel allosteric mechanism. Unlike previous inhibitors, C36 inhibits EZH2/PRC2 by disrupting the allosteric communication between EZH2 and EED in a SAM‐noncompetitive manner.

HLA and otosclerosis.

open access: yesNippon Jibiinkoka Gakkai Kaiho, 1990
The HLA antigens frequencies were studied in 30 Japanese patients with otosclerosis, and were compared with those of 220 randomly-selected apparently healthy unrelated Japanese. Serological HLA typing was performed by the modified two-stage complement-dependent microcytotoxicity method at the Blood Transfusion Service, Tokyo University Hospital.

HLA-DQB1*06 and breadth of Nef core region-specific T-cell response are associated with slow disease progression in antiretroviral therapy-naive Chinese HIV-1 subtype B patients

open access: yesHuman Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics, 2017
Vaccines still are an important way to prevent and treat acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). For developing an effective T cell-based AIDS vaccine, it is critical to define the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) type and epitope that elicit the most ...

Placental Site Trophoblastic Tumor Acquires Immune Functions by Incorporating Host Maternal Genes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PSTT cells, through cell fusion with B cells, incorporate abundant non‐inherited maternal genes that are detectable by DNIMA. These hybrid cells acquire immunotherapy‐resistant genetic changes and increase the expression of B cell‐derived immune‐related molecules such as Ig, HLA, LILRB, SIGLEC10, and so on, creating an immunotolerant environment around

HLA‐DR+ Schwann Cells Generate the Protumor Cancer‐Neuron‐Immune Niche in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hijacked and educated by HNSCC cells, HLA‐DR+ Schwann cells lost their normal neural‐related functions but acquired immunoregulatory phenotypes to promote CD4+ T cells transform into Tregs. HLA‐DR+ Schwann cells induced a macrophage subpopulation, Il1β.

HLA-B27

open access: yesAnnual Review of Immunology, 2015
Possession of the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecule B27 is strongly associated with ankylosing spondylitis (AS), but the pathogenic role of HLA-B27 is unknown. Two broad theories most likely explain the role of HLA-B27 in AS pathogenesis. The first is based on the natural immunological function of HLA-B27 of presenting antigenic peptides ...
