Clinical, Histopathological, and Molecular Characterization of Pediatric MN1::ZNF341‐Associated Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, Volume 73, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT A lethal round‐cell malignancy with an MN1::ZNF341 fusion has recently been reported in three infants. Here, we describe four further tumors, three in newborns (including monozygotic twins), and one in an adolescent. Detailed clinical, radiological, and histopathological data differentiate these tumors from their main mimics, neuroblastoma and

The expression of melanocytic markers in undifferentiated and differentiated ADSCs detected by immunofluorescence microscopy.

open access: yes, 2021
The expression levels of HMB45, MITF, MelEM, Mel2, MelanA, MATP, and tyrosinase (TYR) in undifferentiated and differentiated ADSCs, as well as NHEMs, were examined by immunofluorescence microscopy. All melanocytic markers except for TYR were detected.

A Spinal Cord Sarcoma With EWSR1::WT1 Fusion Exhibited Ewing Sarcoma‐Like Pattern Rather Than Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor

open access: yesPathology International, Volume 76, Issue 9, September 2026.
We received a case of a 22 years old female, with a spinal cord sarcoma. The tumor consisted of small blue round cells, lack of desmoplastic stroma, with positive expression of CD99 and Desmin in IHC, negative expression of NKX2.2 in IHC, separative signals of EWSR1 gene probe in FISH, gene fusion of EWSR1(E9)::WT1(E8) through RNA and DNA NGS.

Malignant perivascular epitheloid cell tumour (PEComa) of the lung – a rare entity

open access: yesInnovative Surgical Sciences, 2017
Malignant Perivascular Epitheloid Cell Tumour (PEComa) of the lung is very rare, with only six cases reported in literature. This case presented with a large mass originating from right upper lobe of the lung with dilemma in its histopathological ...

Evolving Pathology of Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma: Integrating Morphology, Immunohistochemistry, and Molecular Insights

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 8, Page 2029-2039, August 2026.
Schematic overview of progression from differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) to anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (ATC). ATC primarily develops via two pathways: the BRAF p.V600E‐mutated papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) pathway and the RAS‐mutated pathway. The origin and progression of BRAF/RAS‐wildtype ATC remain unclear.

Epithelioid angiomyolipoma of the liver: a case report [PDF]

open access: yesClinical and Molecular Hepatology, 2017
Epithelioid angiomyolipoma (EAML) of liver is a rare neoplasm. Hepatic EAML is often misdiagnosed as other neoplasms such as hepatocellular carcinoma due to non-specific clinical and radiologic features.

Optimizing Biopsy Decisions in Benign Longitudinal Melanonychia: A Dermoscopic‐Pathologic Study of Nail Matrix Nevus vs. Melanocytic Activation

open access: yesSkin Research and Technology, Volume 32, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Longitudinal melanonychia (LM) is a common clinical manifestation of nail melanocytic lesions and poses diagnostic challenges in distinguishing benign melanocytic activation (MA) from melanocytic hyperplasia such as nail matrix nevus(NMN).
