Precise position control of a helical magnetic robot in pulsatile flow using the rotating frequency of the external magnetic field

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2017
We propose a position control method for a helical magnetic robot (HMR) that uses the rotating frequency of the external rotating magnetic field (ERMF) to minimize the position fluctuation of the HMR caused by pulsatile flow in human blood vessels.

In vitro activity of ketolides HMR 3004 and HMR 3647 and seven other antimicrobial agents against Corynebacterium diphtheriae [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, 2001
The in vitro activities of two ketolides, HMR 3004 and HMR 3647 (telithromycin), and the comparator agents erythromycin A, azithromycin, clarithromycin, roxithromycin, levofloxacin, ofloxacin and penicillin G were determined by an agar dilution method against 410 isolates of Corynebacterium diphtheriae.

Differential Interaction of High Microvascular Resistance With Coronary Flow Reserve Across Coronary Microvascular Dysfunction Endotypes

open access: yesJACC: Advances
Background: In contrast to reduced coronary flow reserve (CFR), increased minimal hyperemic microvascular resistance (hMR) lacks prognostic relevance in stable chronic coronary syndromes.

HMR-Adapter: A Lightweight Adapter with Dual-Path Cross Augmentation for Expressive Human Mesh Recovery

open access: yesACM Multimedia
Expressive Human Mesh Recovery (HMR) involves reconstructing the 3D human body, including hands and face, from RGB images. It is difficult because humans are highly deformable, and hands are small and frequently occluded. Recent approaches have attempted

A Case Study of Presplitting Blasting Parameters of Hard and Massive Roof Based on the Interaction between Support and Overlying Strata

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
Due to the existence of a hard and massive roof (HMR), severe ground pressure behaviors have been observed at the working face, resulting in safety issues and the degradation of production effectiveness.

Postantibiotic Suppression of Growth of Erythromycin A-Susceptible and -Resistant Gram-Positive Bacteria by the Ketolides Telithromycin (HMR 3647) and HMR 3004 [PDF]

open access: yesAntimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, 2000
ABSTRACT We investigated the in vitro postantibiotic effects (PAEs) of the ketolides telithromycin (HMR 3647) and HMR 3004 and analyzed the results using the sigmoid E max model. Mean maximum telithromycin PAEs against erythromycin A-susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus

An Instructive Role for C. elegans HMR-1/E-cadherin in Translating Cell Contact Cues into Cortical Polarity

open access: yesNature Cell Biology, 2015
Cell contacts provide spatial cues that polarize early embryos and epithelial cells. The homophilic adhesion protein E-cadherin is required for contact-induced polarity in many cells. However, it is debated whether E-cadherin functions instructively as a
