Infinite distance networks in field space and charge orbits
The Swampland Distance Conjecture proposes that approaching infinite distances in field space an infinite tower of states becomes exponentially light. We study this conjecture for the complex structure moduli space of Calabi-Yau manifolds.

Ontogeny of murine bony semicircular canal form
Abstract The labyrinthine geometry and functional anatomy of the semicircular canals have intrigued scientists for decades, and there has been considerable interest in understanding how these complex structures grow and develop with evidence emerging from human studies that size maturation occurs exceptionally early by comparison with other systems ...

Redescription of the Triassic cynodont Cistecynodon parvus and reassessment of its phylogeny
Abstract Cynodontia is an important subclade of Therapsida that first occurred in the late Permian. It includes extinct subclades which are the non‐mammaliaform cynodonts and Mammaliaformes, with the latter ultimately giving rise to crown mammals. The systematics of non‐mammaliaform cynodonts has been extensively studied and is relatively well‐resolved,

The Hilbert symbol in the Hodge standard conjecture
We study the Hodge standard conjecture for varieties over finite fields admitting a CM lifting, such as abelian varieties or products of K3 surfaces. For those varieties we show that the signature predicted by the conjecture holds true modulo $4$.

ABSTRACT Variants in the CNTNAP2 gene, encoding the cell adhesion molecule CASPR2, have been identified as genetic risk factors for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). However, the mechanisms through which CNTNAP2 dysfunction alters circuit function remain unknown.

Unramified cohomology and the integral Hodge conjecture
The failure of the integral Hodge conjecture has been known since the famous counterexamples of Atiyah and Hirzebruch. Currently, several methods exist for producing other counterexamples.

Activism as a long durée journey: Teachers against the Chilean neoliberal education model
Abstract In this paper, I use the idea of purposes of education, particularly subjectification, and the concept of love to explore long‐term teacher activism in Chile. ‘Long‐term activism’ is used to describe an ongoing struggle rather than activism confined to specific moments.

Noncommutative Hodge conjecture
The paper provides a version of the rational Hodge conjecture for \mathsf{dg} categories. The noncommutative Hodge conjecture is equivalent to the version proposed by Perry (2022) for admissible subcategories.

Spatial metrics in fire ecology: seeking consistency amidst complexity
ABSTRACT Technological advances, including remote sensing, have led to a proliferation of metrics used in ecological studies to examine spatial patterns of fire regimes and their ecological effects. Researchers can use many different metrics to analyse spatial variation in both fire events and resulting fire regimes, including fire size, shape ...
