Evaluation of the realism of a full-color reflection H2 analog hologram recorded on ultra-fine-grain silver-halide material

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2019
This paper presents an evaluation of the realism of a full-color reflection H2 analog hologram recorded on ultra-fine-grain silver-halide material. An H2 hologram is a transplane image that is different from the well-known Denisyuk hologram in which the ...

Holography and the Luxury Industry

open access: yesPhotonics, 2021
The luxury goods industry and holography have a lengthy history together. In this article, we review the applications of holography to the industry and the relevant technical requirements, in particular when the hologram itself is the luxury item, when ...

Metachromatic Butterfly Bile Pigments for Multi‐Level Optical Security Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bio‐derived optical security materials are manufactured by embedding butterfly‐based pigments in polymer films. Tunable color and fluorescence responses arise from concentration‐controlled metachromasy, enabling spatially encoded patterns with distinct visible, UV‐active, and spectral signatures.

Hadrons as Holograms [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of International Workshop on QCD Green’s Functions, Confinement and Phenomenology — PoS(QCD-TNT09), 2010
We review our recent work on four topics in strong-interaction physics from the perspective of the gauge/gravity correspondence. In particular, we discuss (i) the construction of the ``metric soft wall'' dual for holographic QCD which reproduces the observed linear square-mass trajectories of radially and orbitally excited (light-quark) hadrons, (ii ...

Critical Role of Polymer Gate Dielectrics on the Charge Carrier Transport in Perovskite Field‐Effect Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Charge transport in 2D tin perovskite FETs is shown to be governed by dielectric interface behavior. Polar polymer dielectrics induce dipolar disorder that localizes carriers, whereas nonpolar polymers suppress trapping and enable superior charge transport, ensuring stable and reliable transistor operation. ABSTRACT Understanding the role of interfaces

Digital 3D Hologram Generation Using Spatial and Elevation Information

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The evolution of cartography poses challenges in representing three-dimensional terrain accurately on traditional two-dimensional maps. Providing an accurate 3D view of the area, coupled with essential geographic information, is vital for rapid and ...

Quantum volume hologram [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 2010
We propose a new scheme for parallel spatially multimode quantum memory for light. The scheme is based on counter-propagating quantum signal wave and strong classical reference wave, like in a classical volume hologram, and therefore can be called a quantum volume hologram.

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Verification of the accommodative responses in viewing an on-axis analog reflection hologram

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2021
Vergence and accommodation responses of human vision are very important factors when a 3D image is observed, and a vergence-accommodation conflict (VAC) causes perceptual distortion, visual discomfort, and fatigue for an observer.

Modulated-grating hologram [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Optics, 1977
By means of a multiple-exposure holographic recording method, a phase-and-amplitude, off-axis hologram, which we call a modulated-grating hologram, has been synthesized from three computer-generated transmission masks. Each mask controls one fixed-phase component of the complex hologram transmittance. The basic grating is generated optically, relieving
