Holographic panorama display system

2015 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics - Taiwan, 2015
In this paper, we proposed a holographic panorama display system. The presented scheme uses panorama technology display a holography images on the HoloAD platform. We adopt color correction method to perform image pre-processing and then find the feature points of the input image and match with each other.

Holographic display of digital images

Proceedings of the November 14-16, 1967, fall joint computer conference on - AFIPS '67 (Fall), 1967
An optical hologram is a two-dimensional photographic plate which preserves information about the wavefront of coherent light which is diffracted from an object and is incident upon the plate. A properly illuminated hologram yields a three-dimensional wave-front identical to that from the original object, and thus the observed image is an exact ...

Holographic Displays for AR Applications

2019 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE), 2019
We report two compact designs for holographic AR displays using holographic optical elements (HOEs). The HOEs are thin Bragg holograms that can realize the functions of an optical combiner, a see-through eye piece or a beam expander. With small form factor and light weightiness, our holographic displays are promising for mobile augmented reallty (AR ...

Interactive holographic display

SPIE Proceedings, 2014
A holographic display which is capable of displaying floating holographic images is introduced. The display is for user interaction with the image on the display. It consists of two parts; multiplexed holographic image generation and a spherical mirror. The time multiplexed image from 2 X 10 DMD frames appeared on PDLC screen is imaged by the spherical

Digital holographic display

SPIE Proceedings, 2009
This paper describes how a Digital Holographic Projector is designed and implemented to project two-dimension virtual images onto the volumetric display media. In this research, we focus on the method to create 3D models, diffractive algorithm and the display media.

The Future of Holographic Head-Up Display

IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, 2019
The use of Holographic or Diffractive optics is on the rise, premium DSLR optics using this technology is an outstanding example of compact device. This technology applied to head-up display (HUD) is presented, using the windshield as a transparent holographic display, with the ability to present floating graphical object in a large field of view ...

A low cost holographic display

SIGGRAPH ASIA 2016 Technical Briefs, 2016
Holography can be viewed as the ultimate display technology since it correctly duplicates all the cues used by our visual system. In the graphics community this technology has largely been ignored in the past due to its computational cost, but this is changing as more powerful parallel processors are becoming available.

Three-dimensional color holographic display

Applied Optics, 1999
Three-dimensional (3D) color holograms are recorded in a cerium-doped, strontium barium niobate (SBN:60) photorefractive crystal. These holograms are shown to reconstruct true color reproductions of the original object with an observable field of view of 37 degrees.

Holographic Displays for Future IT

Biomedical Optics and 3-D Imaging, 2010
Real time holographic display by simple aggregation of digital camera-projector array is demonstrated as the rudimentary holographic TV by holographic thoughts but getting rid of the necessity of coherent interference for conventional holography.
