3D digital holographic display

The 17th Annual Meeting of the IEEELasers and Electro-Optics Society, 2004. LEOS 2004., 2004
This study presents a 3D display system based on phase-shifting digital holography. This work also shows optical recording (within 30 frames/s) of a temporally changing 3D object and its numerical reconstruction. Thus, the system can be used for real-time recording, data transmission, and reconstruction of 3D object.

Holographic visual displays

Ultrasonics, 1968
Abstract This is a short description of an optical holographic technique for storing a number of images on a single photographic plate. At present used for three-dimensional reconstruction of ultrasonic uterus scans, the system has potential for many other non-medical applications.

Holographic - Liquid Crystal Displays

SPIE Proceedings, 1989
This paper describes a new family of displays which combine the versatility of liquid crystal displays with the 3-D perception and look-around conveyed by holograms. Results obtained with computer generated stereograms, coupled to dynamic scattering and twisted nematic displays, will be discussed together with possible applications.

Holographic panorama display system

2015 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics - Taiwan, 2015
In this paper, we proposed a holographic panorama display system. The presented scheme uses panorama technology display a holography images on the HoloAD platform. We adopt color correction method to perform image pre-processing and then find the feature points of the input image and match with each other.

Holographic Moving Map Display

Optical Engineering, 1974
A high brightness display is achieved using tungsten sources to read out phase image plane holograms. Full color is provided by using three superimposed component holograms derived from three primary color separation object transparencies of the original subject.

HOLOGRAPHIC DISPLAY

2003
The invention relates to a holographic display (3) for storing and reproducing a spatial structure. Said structure comprises a holographic screen (1) forming the master hologram, and a projection device (2) which lights up the holographic screen in order to reproduce the spatial structure. According to the invention, the holographic display consists of

HOLOGRAPHIC HEAD-UP DISPLAY

1970
Abstract : A head-up display system as used by an aircraft commander must provide a simulation of the real-world exterior to his vehicle, and, at the same time, represent any change in his attitude with respect to a predetermined segment of this real world. In the particular case of an aircraft landing approach, one can characterize the pilot's view of

3D touchable holographic light-field display

Applied Optics, 2016
We propose a new type of 3D user interface: interaction with a light field reproduced by a 3D display. The 3D display used in this work reproduces a 3D light field, and a real image can be reproduced in midair between the display and the user. When using a finger to touch the real image, the light field from the display will scatter. Then, the 3D touch

Three-dimensional holographic display

Soviet Journal of Quantum Electronics, 1981
A system of superimposed volume holographic gratings was used to construct a three-dimensional display operating in real time. The number of such gratings was equal to the number of cross sections of the imaged information. The principle of operation of the display was analyzed.
