Harmonic holography: a new holographic principle

open access: yesApplied Optics, 2007
The process of second harmonic generation (SHG) has a unique property of forming a sharp optical contrast between noncentrosymmetric crystalline materials and other types of material, which is a highly valuable asset for contrast microscopy. The coherent signal obtained through SHG also allows for the recording of holograms at high spatial and temporal

Total internal reflection coupling module for generating zero-order-free holographic optical fields [PDF]

open access: yesAPL Photonics
The liquid crystal spatial light modulator (LC-SLM) is a widely utilized device for optical field modulation. However, it is commonly plagued by the significant zero-order beam in the output diffraction pattern.

Dynamical analysis and statefinder of Barrow holographic dark energy

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
Based on the holographic principle and the Barrow entropy, Barrow holographic dark energy had been proposed. In order to analyze the stability and the evolution of Barrow holographic dark energy, we, in this paper, apply the dynamical analysis and ...

The weak equivalence principle and the Dirac constant: A result from the holographic principle

open access: yesResults in Physics
In this article, based on a recent formularization of the holographic principle proposed and investigated by the present author, we show that the weak equivalence principle in general relativity is equivalent to the equivalence between two forms of the ...

Holographic Space-Time and Quantum Information

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2020
The formalism of Holographic Space-time (HST) is a translation of the principles of Lorentzian geometry into the language of quantum information. Intervals along time-like trajectories, and their associated causal diamonds, completely characterize a ...

Tunable Sound Absorption via Evanescent‐Wave Coupling in Asymmetric Bilayer Metasurfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tunable sound absorption is realized through a bilayer metasurface system governed by evanescent‐wave coupling. This work demonstrates that such evanescent‐wave coupling provides a controllable scattering channel that destructively interferes with the specular reflection.

Quantum Holography from Fermion Fields

open access: yesQuantum Reports, 2021
In this paper, we demonstrate, in the context of Loop Quantum Gravity, the Quantum Holographic Principle, according to which the area of the boundary surface enclosing a region of space encodes a qubit per Planck unit.
