Circular holographic video display system

open access: yesOptics Express, 2011
A circular holographic video display system reconstructs holographic video. Phase-only spatial light modulators are tiled in a circular configuration in order to increase the field of view. A beam-splitter is used to align the active area of the SLMs side by side without any gap. With the help of this configuration observers can see 3D ghost-like image

Video-rate laser Doppler vibrometry by heterodyne holography [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We report a demonstration video-rate heterodyne holography in off-axis configuration. Reconstruction and display of 1 Megapixel holograms is achieved at 24 frames per second, with a graphics processing unit.

Static Structures in Leaky Mode Waveguides

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
In this work, we suggest a new method of expanding the field of view in bottom-exit, leaky mode devices for transparent, monolithic, holographic, near-eye display.

Assembly and force measurement with SPM-like probes in holographic optical tweezers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We report a high fidelity tomographic reconstruction of the quantum state of photon pairs generated by parametric down-conversion with orbital angular momentum (OAM) entanglement.

Improvement of Apraxia With Augmented Reality: Influencing Pantomime of Tool Use via Holographic Cues

open access: yesFrontiers in Neurology, 2021
Background: Defective pantomime of tool use is a hall mark of limb apraxia. Contextual information has been demonstrated to improve tool use performance.

Video-rate compressive holographic microscopic tomography

open access: yesOptics Express, 2011
Compressive holography enables 3D reconstruction from a single 2D holographic snapshot for objects that can be sparsely represented in some basis. The snapshot mode enables tomographic imaging of microscopic moving objects. We demonstrate video-rate tomographic image acquisition of two live water cyclopses with 5.2 μm spatial resolution and 60 μm axial

Video-rate terahertz digital holographic imaging system [PDF]

open access: yesOptics Express, 2018
Terahertz (THz) imaging has been demonstrated in numerous applications from medical to non-destructive evaluation (NDE), but current systems require expensive components, provide slow frame-rates and low resolutions. THz holography offers a potentially low-cost, high-performance alternative.

Increasing trap stiffness with position clamping in holographic optical tweezers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We present a holographic optical tweezers system capable of position clamping multiple particles. Moving an optical trap in response to the trapped object's motion is a powerful technique for optical control and force measurement.
