Remote Control of Hand Actuators via Glove Sensors for Medical Care Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This study presents a novel textile‐based sensory glove–actuator system for remote medical care, explored through finite element simulations. By integrating capacitive sensors, pneumatic actuators, and machine learning, the system models real‐time hand movement control.

Scalable Task Planning via Large Language Models and Structured World Representations

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work efficiently combines graph‐based world representations with the commonsense knowledge in Large Language Models to enhance planning techniques for the large‐scale environments that modern robots will need to face. Planning methods often struggle with computational intractability when solving task‐level problems in large‐scale environments ...

Students’ experiences with a hybrid learning environment in nursing homes: A qualitative study

open access: yesNurse Education in Practice
The aim of this study is to explore how students experience learning in a hybrid learning environment in a nursing home setting and their perceptions of relationship-centred care.Nursing homes are undergoing a culture shift from task-centred care to person- and relationship-centred care, requiring a different approach to how nursing home staff work and

IMPACT OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC HOME ENVIRONMENT ON STUDENT LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT

open access: yesIndependent Journal of Management & Production, 2016
Surveys on education intended to test student learning achievement often analyse which educational environment factors have the biggest impact on student achievement. Determination of such factors and assessment of their impact is important in order to control the change in student achievement. Most surveys showed that student achievement is influenced

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.

Play-Based Mathematical Learning in Early Childhood: A Conceptual Model of Parental Mediation in Everyday Contexts

open access: yesEducation Sciences
Despite the growing emphasis on early mathematical learning, comparatively limited attention has been given to how play-based experiences in everyday family contexts contribute to children’s emerging mathematical understanding.
