Silylation of Dinitrogen Catalyzed by Hydridodinitrogentris(Triphenylphosphine)Cobalt(I)
Recently, homogeneous cobalt systems were reported to catalyze the reductive silylation of dinitrogen. In this study the investigations on the silylation of dinitrogen catalyzed by CoH(PPh3)3N2 are presented.

Synthesis of Novel Ferrocene-Benzofuran Hybrids via Palladium- and Copper-Catalyzed Reactions
The combination of the ferrocene skeleton with pharmacophores often leads to molecules with interesting biological properties. Five ferrocene-benzofuran hybrids of different structures were synthesized by transition metal catalyzed reactions.

Teaming up main group metals with metallic iron to boost hydrogenation catalysis
Elemental iron turns alkaline-earth metal complexes into highly active catalysts for the hydrogenation of alkenes, alkynes, imines and arenes. The proposed mechanism combines homogeneous catalysis by a soluble main group metal hydride complex with ...

Model arenes hydrogenation with silica-supported rhodium nanoparticles:The role of the silica grains and of the solvent on catalytic activities [PDF]
Silica-supported rhodium-based nanoheterogeneous catalysts were easily prepared by impregnation with a pre-stabilized colloidal suspension. The resulting catalysts contain rhodium nanoparticles well-dispersed in the silica pores with a mean size of 5 nm.

Recycling Of Carbone Oxides (Co, Co2) Conversion Into Methanol At Atmospheric Pressure Over Mechanochemical Achtivated Cuo-zno-al2o3 Catalyst [PDF]
The catalytic process for methanol production by synthesis gas conversion under the conditions of mechanochemical activation (MCA) of copper-zinc-aluminum oxide catalyst in the temperature range 160–280 °C at a pressure of 0.1 MPa are investigated.

Direct methane conversion to methanol by ionic liquid-dissolved platinum catalysts [PDF]
Ternary systems of inorganic Pt salts and oxides, ionic liquids and concentrated sulfuric acid are effective at catalyzing the direct, selective oxidation of methane to methanol and appear to be more water tolerant than the Catalytica ...

Homogeneously catalysed conversion of aqueous formaldehyde to H2 and carbonate
Aqueous formaldehyde is an attractive hydrogen storage system due to the high weight percentage of hydrogen present. Here the authors report a highly active homogeneous ruthenium catalyst system, allowing hydrogen production from formaldehyde-water under

Magnetically Separable Base Catalysts: Heterogeneous Catalysis vs. Quasi-Homogeneous Catalysis
The synthesis of magnetically separable quasi-homogeneous base catalyst and heterogeneous base catalyst is described. The quasi-homogeneous catalyst is achieved by supporting silane monomers functionalized with different amine groups directly on the ...
