Hermitian Curvature Flow on compact homogeneous spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We study a version of the Hermitian curvature flow on compact homogeneous complex manifolds. We prove that the solution has a finite exstinction time $T>0$ and we analyze its behaviour when $t\to T$.

On automorphism groups of homogeneous complex manifolds [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1961
The reproducing property of the Bergman kernel function [1 ] plays an essential role in our proof. As we consider not only bounded domains in Cn, but also general complex manifolds, we replace the kernel function by the kernel form (see [2 ] for the definition and properties of the kernel form).

A Classification of Compact Cohomogeneity One Locally Conformal Kähler Manifolds

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, we apply a result of the classification of a compact cohomogeneity one Riemannian manifold with a compact Lie group G to obtain a classification of compact cohomogeneity one locally conformal Kähler manifolds.

Complex subspaces of homogeneous complex manifolds II—Homotopy Results [PDF]

open access: yesNagoya Mathematical Journal, 1982
The Lefschetz hyperplane section theorem has roots going back at least to Picard, but it was Lefschetz [20] who first stated and proved it in the modern form for integer homology. Later it was improved up to the homotopy level by Andreotti-Frankel [1] and Bott [8] using an idea of Thorn. Numerous generalizations along the same lines have appeared, e.g.

Advanced Manifold–Metric Pairs

open access: yesMathematics
This article presents a novel mathematical formalism for advanced manifold–metric pairs, enhancing the frameworks of geometry and topology. We construct various D-dimensional manifolds and their associated metric spaces using functional methods, with a ...

The Oka principle for sections of subelliptic submersions

open access: yes, 2001
Let X and Y be complex manifolds. One says that maps from X to Y satisfy the Oka principle if the inclusion of the space of holomorphic maps from X to Y into the space of continuous maps is a weak homotopy equivalence. In 1957 H.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Existence of Generalized Maxwell–Einstein Metrics on Completions of Certain Line Bundles

open access: yesMathematics
In Kähler geometry, Calabi extremal metrics serves as a class of more available special metrics than Kähler metrics with constant scalar curvatures, as a generalization of Kähler Einstein metrics. In recent years, Maxwell–Einstein metrics (or conformally

On the topology of minimal orbits in complex flag manifolds

open access: yes, 2007
We compute the Euler-Poincar\'e characteristic of the homogeneous compact manifolds that can be described as minimal orbits for the action of a real form in a complex flag manifold.Comment: 21 pages v2: Major ...
