"Universal" inequalities for the eigenvalues of the biharmonic operator [PDF]
In this paper, we establish universal inequalities for eigenvalues of the clamped plate problem on compact submanifolds of Euclidean spaces, of spheres and of real, complex and quaternionic projective spaces.

Some remarks on homogeneous K\"ahler manifolds
In this paper we provide a positive answer to a conjecture due to A. J. Di Scala, A. Loi, H. Hishi (see [3, Conjecture 1]) claiming that a simply-connected homogeneous K\"ahler manifold M endowed with an integral K\"ahler form $\mu\omega$, admits a ...

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

On general Carnot groups, the definition of a possible hypoelliptic Hodge-Laplacian on forms using the Rumin complex has been considered in (M. Rumin, “Differential geometry on C-C spaces and application to the Novikov-Shubin numbers of nilpotent Lie ...

Do not let thermal drift and instrument artifacts deceive high‐temperature nanoindentation results. We compare classical Oliver–Pharr and automatic image recognition analyses across steels and a Ni alloy to quantify these effects. Accounting for artifacts reveals systematic softening with temperature, while Cr and Ni additions boost resistance ...

On the nuclear trace of Fourier integral operators
In this paper we characterise the r-nuclearity of Fourier integral operators on Lebesgue spaces. Fourier integral operators will be considered in Rn, the discrete group Zn, the n-dimensional torus and symmetric spaces (compact homogeneous manifolds).

Optimization of the Production of Rubber Compounds Using Mathematical Models
Rubber compounds were mixed in a batch internal mixer, and symbolic regression was used to derive mathematical models linking recipe and process parameters to ram path, torque, and mixing quality (incorporation, dispersion, distribution). Subsequent optimization with evolutionary algorithms identified operating conditions that reduce specific energy ...

Multianalyte, real‐time monitoring of bioprinted scaffolds remains challenging. Phosphorescence‐lifetime–based, optically responsive microparticles are embedded in diverse printable hydrogels (κ‐carrageenan, GelMA, PEGDA) to form biomaterial inks that report oxygen, glucose, lactate, and temperature.

The automorphism group of a homogeneous almost complex manifold [PDF]
1. Introduction. Let M be a compact simply connected manifold of nonzero Euler characteristic that carries a homogeneous almost complex structure. We determine the largest connected group A0(M) of almost analytic automorphisms of M. Our hypotheses represent M as a coset space G/K where G is a maximal compact subgroup of the Lie group A0(M) and Ais a ...
