Detecting Horseradish Peroxidase-Labeled Cells [PDF]

open access: yesCold Spring Harbor Protocols, 2019
A range of substrates is available for detection of cells labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Diaminobenzidine (DAB) is the most commonly used substrate and one of the most sensitive. It yields an intense brown product that is insoluble in both water and alcohol. DAB staining is compatible with a wide range of common histological stains. DAB can

Efecto de la polietilenimina en la actividad catalítica de la peroxidasa de rábano (horseradish peroxidase) inmovilizada en electrodos de oro modificados con monocapas autoensambladas de tioles (SAMs). [PDF]

open access: yesAvances en Química, 2009

Horseradish peroxidase inhibition by thiouracils

open access: yesFEBS Letters, 1995
In this paper, the activity of horseradish peroxidase was further determined in the presence of several uracil derivatives. The rate of guaiacol peroxidation decreases in presence of 2‐thiouracil and of 6‐n‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil, but is not changed by 6‐n‐propyluracil nor uracil.

Expression of the DNA mismatch repair proteins hMLH1 and hPMS2 in normal human tissues. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
hMLH1 and hPMS2 are part of the DNA mismatch repair complex. Mutations in these genes have been linked to hereditary non-polyposis colon cancer; they also occur in a variety of sporadic cancers. Western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry demonstrated

Immobilization of periodate-oxidized horseradish peroxidase by adsorption on sepiolite [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society
Horseradish peroxidases (HRP), native and periodate-oxidized were immobilized onto sepiolite clay mineral by adsorption. Both peroxidases were adsorbed on this carrier in different quantities.

Horseradish and soybean peroxidases: comparable tools for alternative niches? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Horseradish and soybean peroxidases (HRP and SBP, respectively) are useful biotechnological tools. HRP is often termed the classical plant heme peroxidase and although it has been studied for decades, our understanding has deepened since its cloning and ...
