A physics‐informed property‐bridging framework links high‐throughput hardness screening to tensile performance in quenching and partitioning steels. By transferring metallurgically guided representations across properties, a single alloy composition is designed to achieve multiple strength grades through heat‐treatment tuning alone, offering a ...

This study first extends the high‐entropy concept to I‐III‐VI quantum dots (QDs) and synthesizes CZCrGSe/ZnSe/ZnS core/shell/shell QDs with a record photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of 100%. Their ZnSe/ZnS double shell efficiently passivates defects and boosts structural stability.

Nano Carbon‐mesh with Excellent Bonding Performance via Hydro‐cage De‐shielding Strategy
A hydro‐cage de‐shielding strategy transforms cellulose‐based films into a dragonfly‐wing‐like nano carbon‐mesh (NCM) adhesive through instantaneous carbonization‐polymerization. The resulting NCM‐plywood achieves exceptional wet shear strength (1.24 MPa at 63°C), exceeding Class II plywood standards, and retains 0.73 MPa after boiling‐water cycles ...

Backbone‐Length‐Optimized Inhibitors Deliver Long‐Retention Selectivity in Area‐Selective ALD of VO2
Area‐selective VO2 ALD is found to depend critically on inhibitor backbone length, which governs physisorption, chemisorption stability, and packing efficiency in a coupled manner. An intermediate backbone‐length achieves the best long‐retention selectivity, establishing a chemically and geometrically grounded design principle for small‐molecule ...

Hot Deformation Behavior during the Hot Compression of AZ31 Alloy [PDF]
The hot deformation behavior of as-cast AZ31 magnesium alloys have been investigated at 200~400°C and strain rates 0.001~1s-1 by means of hot compression tests on a Gleeble-1500D thermal-mechanical simulator. We have analyzed the flow stress-strain curve and presented the constitutive equation by calculating stress exponent, activation energy and Zemer-

Hot Deformation Behavior of AA-FGH720Li Superalloy [PDF]
The hot deformation behavior of FGH720Li superalloy was investigated by hot compressive tests on Gleeble-1500D thermal simulation test machine in different temperatures and strain rates. The true stress-strain curves were obtained, and based on the deformation data, the constitutive equation of FGH720Li superalloy was built.

Deformation Behavior of Glass Nanostructures in Hot Embossing
ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2020In the nanoscale glass formation, the flow and deformation behavior of glass materials are quite different from those in the macroscale because the mold cavity influences the viscous flow behaviors of glass because of the size effect. The knowledge of macroglass molding process no longer applies to the fabrication of glass microparts by hot embossing ...
