Hot Deformation Behavior of Hot-Extruded AA7175 Through Hot Torsion Tests
Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2018The hot deformation behavior of hot-extruded AA7175 was investigated with flow curves and processing maps through hot torsion tests. The flow curves and the deformed microstructures revealed that dynamic recrystallization (DRX) occurred in the hot-extruded AA7175 during hot working. The failure strain was highest at medium temperature.

Hot Deformation Behavior of GCr15 Steel
Journal of Iron and Steel Research International, 2013Hot deformation behavior of GCr15 (ASTM 52100) steel was investigated using single-hit compression tests on Gleeble-1500 simulator at the temperature range of 850–1100 °C and strain rate range of 0.1–10 s−1. The flow stress constitutive equation of GCr15 steel during hot deformation was determined by stress-strain curves analysis on the basis of the ...

Hot Deformation Behavior of Bearing Steels
Journal of Engineering Materials and Technology, 2007The material behaviors of two types of bearing steels at hot working conditions are investigated. Stress-strain curves at various temperatures (900–1300°C) and strain rates (1–50/s) are obtained by compression tests with a computer controlled servo-hydraulic Gleeble 3800 testing machine. Elongation and reduction of the area are also obtained by tensile

Hot Deformation Behavior of TC21 Alloy
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013The dynamic recrystallization behavior of TC21 alloy during hot compression deformation was investigated at 870~990 °C and strain rate of 0.001~10 s-1 on a Gleeble-3500 thermo-simulation machine. The results show that dynamic recovery and dynamic recrystallization occurs during hot deformation.

Hot deformation behavior of FGH96 superalloys
Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing, Mineral, Metallurgy, Material, 2006Abstract The hot deformation behavior of FGH96 superalloys at 1070–1170°C and 5×10−4-2×10−1 s−1 were investigated by means of the isothermal compression tests at a Gleeble-1500 thermal mechanical simulator. The results show that dynamic recovery acts as the main softening mechanism below 2×10−3 s−1 whereas dynamic recrystallization acts as the main ...

Hot deformation behavior of 2060 alloy
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2015Abstract The hot deformation behavior of 2060 alloy has been studied using thermal simulation test, EBSD technique and transmission electron microscopy. The flow stress could be described by a Zener-Hollomon parameter in hyperbolic sine function with the hot deformation activation energy of 205 kJ/mol.

Hot deformation behavior of hot extruded Al–6Mg alloy
Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2012Abstract The behavior of hot extruded Al–6Mg during hot deformation has been studied using hot compression test. The tests were performed at temperatures of 350, 450, and 550 °C and strain rates of 0.001, 0.1, and 1 s−1. Due to the effects of friction and adiabatic heating generated during compression, the attained true stress–true strain curves have

Hot Deformation Behavior and Hot Processing Map of P92 Steel
Advanced Materials Research, 2010Hot-compression and hot-tension experiments were conducted on a Gleeble-1500D thermal-mechanical simulator. The constitutive equation was presented by calculating the stress exponent, activation energy and Zemer-Hollomon parameter during the hot compression.
