Hot Tensile Deformation Behavior of Mg-4Li-1Al-0.5Y Alloy

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials, 2021
The microstructure evolution and deformation mechanism of the as-extruded-annealed Mg-4Li-1Al-0.5Y alloy (denoted as LAY410) were investigated during the hot tensile deformation at the temperatures between 150°C and 300°C with strains from 8 × 10−5 s−1 ...

A study on hot deformation behavior of Ni-42.5Ti-7.5Cu alloy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
To investigate the hot deformation behavior of the Ni-42.5Ti-7.5Cu (wt%) alloy, hot compression tests were carried out at the temperatures from 800 C to 1000 C and at the strain rates of 0.001 s-1 to 1 s-1. The results show that the occurrence of dynamic

Hot Deformation Behavior of SiCP/A1-Cu Composite

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2017
Using the Gleeble-1500D simulator, the high temperature plastic deformation behavior of SiCp/Al-Cu composite were investigated at 350-500℃ with the strain rate of 0.01-10s-1. The true stress-strain curves were obtained in the tests. Constitutive equation

Study of Hot Deformation Behavior of CUFE2 Alloy

open access: yesArchives of Metallurgy and Materials, 2019
Nil strength temperature of 1062°C and nil ductility temperature of 1040°C were experimentally set for CuFe2 alloy. The highest formability at approx. 1020°C is unusable due to massive grain coarsening. The local minimum of ductility around the temperature 910°C is probably due to minor formation of γ-iron.

Predicting the flow stress behavior of Ni-42.5Ti-3Cu during hot deformation using constitutive equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The hot deformation behavior of ternary Ni-42.5Ti-3Cu alloy was modeled. Hot compression tests were carried out at the temperatures from 800°C to 1000°C and at the strain rates of 0.001 s−1 to 1 s−1.

Hot Deformation Behavior of Novel Al-Cu-Y(Er)-Mg-Mn-Zr Alloys

open access: yesMetals, 2021
The compression tests in a temperature range of 400–540 °C and strain rates of 0.1–15 s−1 were applied to novel Al-Cu-Y(Er)-Mg-Mn-Zr alloys to investigate their hot deformation behavior.

Hot Compression Behavior of New Al-6Mg and Al-8Mg Alloy with Improved Hot Workability Fabricated by Direct Chill Casting Method

open access: yesMetals, 2021
A hot compression test of new Al-6Mg and Al-8Mg alloys was conducted to understand the dynamic recrystallization (DRX) behavior by Mg contents. To investigate the hot workability of Al-Mg with high Mg contents, the hot deformation behavior of Al-6Mg and ...

Hot deformation behavior of hard-to-deform Ni-based Alloy

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2021
Abstract The very poor hot workability of hard-to-deform GH4742 alloy is represented in the aspects of very narrow available deformation temperature range, high deformation-resistant force and low thermoplasticity. In this paper, the hot deformation behavior of a Ni-based superalloy was studied in the temperature range of 1060-1160°C and

Research progress of dynamic phase transformation behavior of titanium alloy under thermo-mechanical coupling process

open access: yesJournal of Aeronautical Materials, 2020
Deformation and phase transformation are two major topics in the study of titanium alloy materials. Titanium alloys usually require a series of complex thermo-mechanical treatments to obtain a microstructure corresponding to service performance.
