Cell‐Stress‐Free Percutaneous Bioelectrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 5, 22 January 2026.
A structurally adaptive soft microneedle bioelectrode is developed with an effervescent sacrificial core that dissolves after insertion, leaving an ultrathin and highly compliant electrode integrated with skin. This design enables ultra‐flexible, cell‐stress‐free, stable, and high‐fidelity electrophysiological monitoring under dynamic conditions such ...

A Novel Tertiary Carbamate Prodrug Strategy to Overcome Metabolic Barriers in Oral Ketamine Delivery

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 2, January 2026.
This study describes the development of an orally optimized ketamine prodrug designed to improve pharmacokinetic properties, extend therapeutic efficacy, and minimize adverse effects and abuse liability. Ketamine, a rapid‐acting N‐methyl‐D‐aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist, has therapeutic potential beyond anesthesia, including treatment‐resistant ...

An equation for the quench propagation velocity valid for high field magnet use of REBCO coated conductors

open access: yes, 2016
Based on a study of the thermophysical properties, we derived a practical formula for the normal zone propagation velocity appropriate for REBa$_2$Cu$_3$O$_{7-x}$ coated conductors in high magnetic fields. An analytical expression to evaluate the current

Levitation properties of pre-magnetized HTS tape stacks

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2020
Abstract Abstract This study presents new results on investigation of the levitation force between a permanent magnet and pre-magnetized HTS tape stacks containing from 20 to 100 tapes of 12 mm × 12 mm. Stacks were magnetized in superconducting magnet capable of creating a field of up to 8 T and placed in a levitation force measurement ...

Bactericidal Effect of Nanopulse Generated Plasma on Bacillus subtilis Spores at Different Humidity Levels

open access: yesPlasma Processes and Polymers, Volume 23, Issue 1, January 2026.
This study found that cold plasma can effectively inactivate resistant bacterial spores, especially in high humidity conditions. By adjusting humidity, distance, and exposure time, the treatment became much more effective without using more energy or heat.

A Compact Wideband HTS Duplexer Using Dual‐Mode Resonators with Improved Isolation

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
A wideband high‐temperature superconducting (HTS) duplexer is designed and is characteristic of more than 50% fraction bandwidth in its two channels. The duplexer is composed of a linear half‐wavelength resonator and two channels. Each channel is composed of five dual‐mode resonators with the attenuated second harmonic.

Temperature- and field-dependent characterization of a conductor on round core cable

open access: yes, 2015
The conductor on round core (CORC) cable is one of the major high temperature superconductor cable concepts combining scalability, flexibility, mechanical strength, ease of fabrication and high current density; making it a possible candidate as conductor
