Round-trip hub location problem

open access: yesRAIRO - Operations Research
In this paper, we introduce a novel network design for the Hub Location Problem, inspired by the round-trip structure commonly used by transport service providers. Our design integrates spoke nodes assigned to a central hub node, creating round-trips where the hub node serves as the starting point, visits all assigned spoke nodes, and returns to the ...

Machine Learning‐Enhanced Random Matrix Theory Design for Human Immunodeficiency Virus Vaccine Development

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This study integrates random matrix theory (RMT) and principal component analysis (PCA) to improve the identification of correlated regions in HIV protein sequences for vaccine design. PCA validation enhances the reliability of RMT‐derived correlations, particularly in small‐sample, high‐dimensional datasets, enabling more accurate detection of ...

Locating carbon neutral mobility hubs using artificial intelligence techniques

open access: yesScientific Reports
This research proposes a novel, three-tier AI-based scheme for the allocation of carbon–neutral mobility hubs. Initially, it identified optimal sites using a genetic algorithm, which optimized travel times and achieved a high fitness value of 77,000,000.
