Triple‐Mutated HSV‐1 Expressing Soluble B7‐1 Plus CTLA‐4 Blockade Suppresses Lymph Node Metastasis in Tongue Cancer

In murine tongue cancer models, T‐mB7‐1, a triple‐mutated oncolytic herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV‐1) engineered to express soluble B7‐1, suppresses cervical lymph node metastasis and improves survival, addressing a major prognostic determinant in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC).

Gasdermin‐Mediated Pyroptosis: Novel Strategies Against Colorectal Cancer

Pyroptosis is a double‐edged sword in colorectal cancer (CRC): chronic low‐grade pyroptosis promotes tumor progression, whereas acute induction of pyroptosis in cancer cells triggers antitumor immunity and enhances therapeutic response. Targeting gasdermin‐mediated pyroptosis represents a promising strategy for CRC treatment.

Targeting PCSK9 in Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells: An Effective Strategy to Suppress Ferroptosis and Attenuate Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Progression

PCSK9 aggravates AAA by promoting ferroptosis in VSMCs. In the pathological AAA environment, PCSK9 upregulation triggers ferritinophagy‐dependent degradation of FTH1, leading to Fe2+ release, triggering lipid peroxidation and ferroptosis, exacerbating AAA.
