This review focuses on the application of synthetic biodegradable microarray patches (MAPs) in sustained drug delivery. Compared to conventional MAPs which release drugs into the skin in an immediate manner, these implantable MAPs release drugs into skin microcirculation gradually as the biodegradable polymers degrade, thus offering sustained release ...

The Nanosprouts Structural Inhomogeneity of Organic Semiconductors and the Optical Memory Properties
A flexible nonvolatile organic optical memory transistor (OMT) array is demonstrated with simplified architecture, exhibiting integrated image recognition and storage functions. The organic semiconductors exhibit intrinsic memory properties arising from structural inhomogeneity.

How to Manufacture Photonic Metamaterials
Metamaterials boast applications such as invisibility and “hyperlenses” with resolution beyond the diffraction limit, but these applications haven’t been exploited in earnest and the market for them hasn’t grown much likely because facile and economical methods for fabricating them without defect has not emerged.

A hydrophilic, stretchable, nonwoven electrospun fiber mat targeted to be applied in long‐term bioelectronic devices. By incorporating amphiphilic polyethylene glycol block copolymers in a polydimethylsiloxane matrix, the material develops stable hydrophilicity, enhanced breathability, as well as enhanced adhesion to cells.

human capital, fertility and growth [PDF]
The transition from stagnation to growth has been the subject of intensive research in recent years. The rise in the demand for human capital and the associated decline in population growth have been identified as the prime forces in the movement from an epoch of stagnation to a state of sustained economic growth.

Hyperphosphorescent OLEDs: Harnessing the Power of MR‐TADF Terminal Emitters
Hyperphosphorescent organic light‐emitting diodes (HP‐OLEDs) use phosphorescent sensitizers with multiresonant thermally activated delayed fluorescence terminal emitters. HP‐OLEDs show efficient, narrowband electroluminescence and moderate efficiency roll‐off.
