Impaired Cytokine Secretion Contributes to Age‐Dependent Immune Dysfunction in SARS Coronavirus Response and Is Restored by Young CD11b‐Positive Cell Transfer

open access: yesAging Cell, EarlyView.
Aged CD11b+ cells exhibit impaired IRF7 activation and reduced SNARE protein expression, leading to delayed interferon responses and diminished cytokine secretion.
