Stem cell differentiation follows a conserved surface condensate trajectory: H3K27ac super enhancers nucleate large RNA polymerase II clusters that grow and unfold before transcriptional activity disperses them. This work reveals how biophysical forces at enhancer surfaces dynamically build and dismantle stem cell transcription hubs, reshaping cell ...

Calcium signalling during human sperm interaction with cells of the female reproductive tract [PDF]
The female reproductive tract acts not only as a complex mediator of sperm function and selection but animal data suggests that it alters protein expression after exposure to sperm, implying two-way communication.

This study uncovers a metabolic‐epigenetic axis licensing zygotic genome activation (ZGA) in mouse embryos. A developmental decline in NAD+ levels activates PARP7, which mono‐ADP‐ribosylates and stabilizes UHRF1. This modification promotes the establishment of permissive histone acetylation marks, thereby facilitating timely ZGA.

Modulation of calcium signalling in human sperm by nitric oxide [PDF]
Nitric oxide (NO) generation by nitric oxide synthase (NOS) is implicated in gamete interaction and fertilization. In vitro studies were undertaken to assess the ability of human sperm and cumulus cells (surrounding the oocyte) to generate NO ...

UBE2O targets CDKL1 for the degradation to upregulate PD‐L1 expression and promotes resistance to radioimmunotherapy in lung cancer, supporting the potential of targeting UBE2O as a promising therapeutic strategy. ABSTRACT Resistance to radioimmunotherapy is one of the primary causes of treatment failure in lung cancer patients; however, the underlying

Low-Cost QCM Sensor System for Screening Semen Samples [PDF]
Artificial insemination is a well-established part of modern agricultural practice. A viable semen sample is judged by the total number of spermatozoa (sperm) in the sample and the motility of the sperm.

This study shows that in glioma stem cells (GSCs), RBM12 recruits ALKBH5 to remove m6A from SLC7A5 transcripts, thereby enhancing mRNA stability, which elevates large neutral amino acid (LNAA) levels and activates mTORC1, promoting GSC proliferation, self‐renewal, and tumor growth.
