استفاده از اتوسکوپ در تعیین جنسیت فیل ماهیان (Huso huso) پرورشی
2014در مطالعه حاضر جهت تعیین جنسیت فیل ماهیان سه ساله پرورشی در محدوده وزنی 5/5-5/2 کیلوگرم از اتوسکوپ استفاده گردید. 2350 فیل ماهی برای این کار در نظر گرفته شد بطوری که با یک برش کوچک 8/0-6/0 سانتیمتری، پروب دستگاه اتوسکوپ وارد ناحیه شکمی گردید و گنادها برای تعیین جنسیت مورد مشاهده و بررسی قرار گرفت.
