International Journal of Electronics Letters, 2013In this paper, the concept of hybrid mode splitting in an elliptical dielectric resonator (EDR) for realising dual-band bandpass filter is introduced. It is observed that hybrid mode splitting occurs in an EDR loaded asymmetrically along z-axis in a rectangular cavity.

Proceedings of the 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation, 2012A high-gain hybrid monopole dielectric resonator antenna is proposed. The bridge-shaped dielectric resonator is selected as radiator, which works in high-order modes. The monopole excites the DR as the feeding mechanism and also acts as an effective radiator itself.
