Triple mode dielectric resonator hybrid reflection filters

A new class of dielectric resonator filter is described. These devices use the triply degenerate TE/sub 11/spl delta// mode in a cubic dielectric resonator. A simple theory is used to show the similarity between this mode and the TE/sub 10/spl delta// mode in a cylindrical resonator.

Compact dual-band hybrid dielectric resonator antenna

A miniature independent dual-band hybrid dielectric resonator antenna fed by a coplanar waveguide inductive slot is proposed. In this configuration, the CPW inductive slot performs the functions of an effective radiator and the feeding structure of the DR.

Modified ultra wideband hybrid dielectric resonator antenna

Hybrid Mode Dielectric Resonators on Suspended Substrate

A rigorous method for analyzing hybrid mode dielectric resonators on suspended substrate and for evaluating the quality factors of the resonators, by using mode matching, is presented. Measured and numerical results showing excellent agreement are presented for a sample resonator on several hybrid modes.

Dual-band hybrid dielectric resonator antenna for WLAN

In this paper, a compact dual-band hybrid DRA for WLAN is presented. In this antenna configuration, a vertical unsymmetrical T-junction strip adhered to the sidewall of the rectangular DR is utilized to excite radiating modes in the DR. A parasitic loop printed on the top of the DR is excited through the coupling to the feeding circuit.

A half ring shaped dielectric resonator (DR) is selected as radiator, which excited by a graded spherical monopole element.
