Wide-Band and High-Efficiency Hybrid Dielectric Resonator Antenna

2020 Cross Strait Radio Science & Wireless Technology Conference (CSRSWTC), 2020
A hybrid dielectric resonator antenna with wideband and high-efficiency is presented in this paper. Pure water is used as the dielectric of the cylindrical resonator antenna. The air layer is inserted between the water and the ground plane to improve the radiation efficiency and increase the bandwidth of the antenna.

Hybrid mode coupling of dielectric resonators to microstrip lines

IEEE International Digest on Microwave Symposium, 2002
Coupling between hybrid modes in dielectric resonators and microstrip lines is analyzed. This coupling is due to both magnetic and electric fields. These two kinds of coupling can be treated separately. Two degenerate hybrid modes with the same resonant frequency are excited by magnetic coupling and electric coupling, respectively.

Ultra-wideband dielectric-resonator antenna based on hybrid techniques

2010 14th International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics & the American Electromagnetics Conference, 2010
In this paper, two configurations of dielectric resonator antennas designed by using hybrid techniques are proposed and compared. Hybrid resonators along with dielectric shaping and impedance matching methods are served to effectively excite a family of monopole-like radiation inside the dielectric.

A New Wideband Circularly Polarized Hybrid Dielectric Resonator Antenna

IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2010
Dielectric resonator antennas (DRAs) have been targeted in the past two decades as a potential solution for wideband antennas. Although DRAs offer wider frequency band and smaller size than patch antennas, their design to obtain good circular polarization over a wide frequency band can be challenging.

Design and measurement of a hybrid dielectric resonator antenna

2011 International Conference on Computer, Communication and Electrical Technology (ICCCET), 2011
In this paper, a rectangular hybrid dielectric resonator antenna (HDRA) is proposed. In the proposed design, the structure uses a combination of a rectangular dielectric resonator (DR) fed by a microstrip line through dog-bone shape slot. This dog-bone slot works as a feed circuit for the DR. Here two different DR materials are used and compared.

Parameters determination of dielectric materials at the resonances of hybrid microwave oscillations in the waveguide dielectric resonator

Proceedings of International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques, 1997
The knowledge of electrical parameters of dielectric materials it is necessary for the disign of the elements of radio electronic equipment and for the development of new technological processes. Among the known various methods the electric parameter measuring of dielectrics finds a very important place in the radiophysical mwthods, specifically the ...
