Electromagnetic design and temperature field analysis of hybrid excitation primary permanent magnet linear motor

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2023
Hybrid excitation primary permanent magnet linear motor has the dual advantages of high thrust density of primary permanent magnet linear motor and the flexibility on adjusting the air gap magnetic field of hybrid excitation motor. In this paper, two new

Orbitally excited and hybrid mesons from the lattice [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1996
We discuss in general the construction of gauge-invariant non-local meson operators on the lattice. We use such operators to study the $P$- and $D$-wave mesons as well as hybrid mesons in quenched QCD, with quark masses near the strange quark mass. The resulting spectra are compared with experiment for the orbital excitations.

Thermal Analysis of Dual-Axis-Direction Hybrid Excitation Generator for Electric Vehicles

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
Electric vehicle (EV) generators have characteristics of small volume and high power density, which leads to high temperature rise. The temperature rise will directly influence the service life and reliability of the generator, so thermal analysis of EV ...

Novel Consequent-Pole Hybrid Excited Machine with Separated Excitation Stator

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2016
A partitioned stator hybrid excited machine is proposed, in which the permanent magnets and field windings are alternately placed on an inner stator separated from the outer stator having armature windings. This machine inherits the features of brushless machines and benefits from better space utilization.

A Novel Dual-Structure Parallel Hybrid Excitation Machine for Electric Vehicle Propulsion

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
Magnetic field regulation is a difficult and long-existing issue in surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSMs). To produce effective and efficient flux regulation for PMSMs, a new topology, named a dual-structure parallel hybrid ...

Hybrid and orbitally excited mesons in quenched QCD [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 1998
We use lattice methods to evaluate from first principles the spectrum of hybrid mesons produced by gluonic excitations in quenched QCD with quark masses near the strange quark mass. For the spin-exotic mesons with $J^{PC}=1^{-+},\ 0^{+-}$, and $2^{+-}$ which are not present in the quark model, we determine the lightest state to be $1^{-+}$ with mass of

Optimization methodology for control strategy of parallel hybrid electric vehicle based on chaos prediction

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2018
Irregular internal excitation (engine excitation and motor excitation) and external excitation (road excitation) can cause torsional vibration which even leads to the break of shaft of parallel hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) powertrain.
