Resonance excitation of the spin-wave current in hybrid structures [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2016
Using the non-equilibrium statistical operator method (NSO), we have investigated the spin transport through the interface in a semiconductor/ferromagnetic insulator hybrid structure. We have analyzed the approximation of effective parameters, when each of the considered subsystems (conduction electrons, magnons, and phonons) is characterized by its ...

Three phosphatase families form a community: The phosphohydrolases that act upon inositol pyrophosphates

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Optimization methodology for control strategy of parallel hybrid electric vehicle based on chaos prediction

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2018
Irregular internal excitation (engine excitation and motor excitation) and external excitation (road excitation) can cause torsional vibration which even leads to the break of shaft of parallel hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) powertrain.
