High-Precision Optical Excited Heaters Based on Au Nanoparticles and Water-Soluble Porphyrin
Gold nanoparticles are widely used as local heaters under optical excitation. Hybrid molecular-plasmon nanostructures based on gold nanoparticles and water-soluble porphyrin have been developed.

Doubly hybrid density functional for accurate descriptions of nonbond interactions, thermochemistry, and thermochemical kinetics [PDF]
We develop and validate a density functional, XYG3, based on the adiabatic connection formalism and the Görling–Levy coupling-constant perturbation expansion to the second order (PT2).

Orbitally excited and hybrid mesons from the lattice [PDF]
We discuss in general the construction of gauge-invariant non-local meson operators on the lattice. We use such operators to study the $P$- and $D$-wave mesons as well as hybrid mesons in quenched QCD, with quark masses near the strange quark mass. The resulting spectra are compared with experiment for the orbital excitations.

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.

Hybrid excited claw pole generator with skewed and non-skewed permanent magnets
This article contains simulation results of the Hybrid Excited Claw Pole Generator with skewed and non-skewed permanent magnets on rotor. The experimental machine has claw poles on two rotor sections, between which an excitation control coil is located ...

Torque analysis on a double rotor electrical variable transmission with hybrid excitation [PDF]
An electrical variable transmission (EVT) can be used as a power splitting device in hybrid electrical vehicles. The EVT analyzed in this paper is a rotating field electrical machine having two concentric rotors.
