Selective Benzene Capture by Metal‐Organic Frameworks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) hold significant potential for capturing benzene from air emissions and hydrocarbon mixtures in liquid phases. This capability stems from their precisely engineered structures, versatile chemistries, and diverse binding interactions.

Dietary supplementation with polypeptin and bioture improves growth, feed utilization, antioxidant capacity, and disease resistance in juvenile hybrid grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus♀ × E. lanceolatus♂)

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science
Intensive aquaculture of hybrid grouper (Epinephelus spp.) is often constrained by inefficient feed conversion and recurrent outbreaks of vibriosis. This study investigated the individual and combined effects of dietary polypeptin and bioture on growth ...

Near‐Infrared Emitting Lanthanide Catecholate Giant Single Crystals – Morphology Control and Photon Down‐Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

Effect of dietary protein and protein energy ratio on the growth performance of lemon fin barb hybrid (Hypsibarbus wetmorei X Puntius gonionotus) larvae [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A series of two experiments was conducted to study the optimum dietary protein level and protein to energy ratio of lemon fin barb hybrid larvae. In Experiment 1, five isocaloric diets (4700 kcal per kg) ranging from 40 to 60% protein in 5% increments ...

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Penambahan Asam Amino Taurin Pada Pakan Buatan Terhadap Peningkatan Pertumbuhan Dan Sintasan Benih Ikan Kerapu Cantik (Epinephelus Fuscoguttatus × Epinephelus Microdon) [Addition of Amino Taurine Acid to Artificial Feed on Increased Growth and Survival Rate of Cantik Grouper Seed (Epinephelus Fuscoguttatus × Epinephelus Microdon)] [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018

Substrate Stress Relaxation Regulates Cell‐Mediated Assembly of Extracellular Matrix

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Silicone‐based viscoelastic substrates with tunable stress relaxation reveal how matrix mechanics regulates cellular mechanosensing and cell‐mediated matrix remodelling in the stiff regime. High stress relaxation promotes assembly of fibronectin fibril‐like structures, increased nuclear localization of YAP and formation of β1 integrin‐enriched ...
