Hybrid numbers are generalization of complex, hyperbolic and dual numbers. In this paper, we define and study hybrid numbers with cobalancing and Lucas-cobalancing coefficients. We derive some fundamental identities for these numbers, among others the Binet formulas and the general bilinear index-reduction formulas which imply the Catalan, Cassini ...

ABSTRACT Background Accessing brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be challenging, especially for underserved patients, which may lead to disparities in neurological diagnosis. Method This mixed‐methods study enrolled adults with one of four neurological disorders: mild cognitive impairment or dementia of the Alzheimer type, multiple sclerosis ...

Sex Representation in US Stroke Clinical Trials: A Decade of Trends and Challenges
ABSTRACT Objective Stroke remains a major cause of disability and mortality in the US, with significant sex‐based disparities, and females remain underrepresented in stroke clinical trials. We aimed to examine sex representation in US‐based stroke clinical trials, identify trial characteristics associated with higher female enrollment (≥ 50%), and ...

ABSTRACT Background Cognitive impairment is a common non‐motor symptom in Multiple Sclerosis (MS), negatively affecting autonomy and Quality of Life (QoL). Innovative rehabilitation strategies, such as semi‐immersive virtual reality (VR) and computerized cognitive training (CCT), may offer advantages over traditional cognitive rehabilitation (TCR ...

Laser Powder Bed Fusion of Alumina: Effects of Scanning Strategies on External and Internal Defects
This study investigates how scanning strategies affect pure alumina in laser powder bed fusion. Linear 45° scanning yields uniform surfaces but high porosity, while the island‐concentric strategy provides higher density with through‐holes favorable for infiltration. Findings highlight pathways toward optimizing defect‐free alumina parts.

A new frame for non-lightlike curves in Minkowski 3-space: hybrid frame
In this study, we introduce a hybrid frame consisting of elliptic, hyperbolic, and parabolic vectors for the study of non-lightlike curves in Minkowski 3-space.

On generalized Mersenne hybrid numbers
The hybrid numbers are generalization of complex, hyperbolic and dual numbers. In this paper we consider a special kind of hybrid numbers, namely the Mersenne hybrid numbers and we give some of their properties.

Powder metal processing provides scalable advantages in nanoporous (np) metal development. Mechanical alloying is used to produce unique precursors for hybrid nanopore formation by oxide reduction and dealloying. As demonstrated in np Ag, this approach improves process efficiency while promoting smaller ligaments and larger pores, both of which are ...

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...
