Fluorination with xenon difluoride. Reaction with halogenated hydrocarbons
Journal of Fluorine Chemistry, 1976Abstract Filler and coworkers [1-5] have demonstrated the utility of xenon difluoride as a selective fluorinating agent for aromatic hydrocarbons in the liquid phase, while Mackenzie and coworker [6] have fluorinated aromatic compounds in the vapour phase.

Photochemical reaction of molecular iodine with fluorinated hydrocarbons
Journal of Photochemistry, 1983Abstract Molecular iodine excited by the ArF laser at 193 nm splits CF, CH and CC bonds in a direct non-pyrolytic reaction with a quantum yield of about 2%. The radicals thus formed then combine with I2 to yield organic iodides.
