Photothermal Hydrogel with Mn3O4 Nanoparticles Alleviates Intervertebral Disc Degeneration by Scavenging ROS and Regulating Extracellular Matrix Metabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The MPTT‐nanozyme‐hydrogel system (Mn3O4@ChS‐HA) provides a multifunctional therapeutic strategy for intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD), effectively targeting oxidative stress and enhancing AF repair by restoring extracellular matrix (ECM) and redox homeostasis.

Sound propagation and Mach cone in anisotropic hydrodynamics

open access: yes, 2019
This letter is based on a kinetic theory approach to anisotropic hydrodynamics. We derive the sound wave equation in anisotropic hydrodynamics and show that a corresponding wave front is ellipsoidal.

Hydrodynamics of Droplet Coalescence [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2005
We study droplet coalescence in a molecular system with a variable viscosity and a colloid-polymer mixture with an ultralow surface tension. When either the viscosity is large or the surface tension is small enough, we observe that the opening of the liquid bridge initially proceeds at a constant speed set by the capillary velocity. In the first system

Imaging of Lipid Droplets in Living Cells and Mice with Metabolic Dysfunction‐Associated Steatotic Liver Disease via a Galactose‐Modified Supramolecular Near‐Infrared Fluorescent Glycoprobe

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A galactose‐modified supramolecular near‐infrared (NIR) glycoprobe, TCF‐FBN@Gal‐BSA, enables targeted delivery to the liver through the asialoglycoprotein receptor (ASGPR) and facilitates liver‐targeting fluorescence visualization of lipid droplets (LDs) in metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) mice.

On the mechanism of carbon nanostructures formation at reaction of organic compounds at high pressure and temperature

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2017
Based on the analysis of the data on the behavior of electric conductivity at the detonation of condensed high explosives (HEs) with the composition CaHbNcOd and the carbon mass fraction higher than 0.1, the conclusion was made of the presence of long ...

Relativistic Hydrodynamic Attractors with Broken Symmetries: Non-Conformal and Non-Homogeneous

open access: yes, 2017
Standard textbooks will state that hydrodynamics requires near-equilibrium to be applicable. Recently, however, out-of-equilibrium attractor solutions for hydrodynamics have been found in kinetic theory and holography in systems with a high degree of ...

NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

On the anomalous superfluid hydrodynamics

open access: yes, 2011
It has been shown by Son and Sur\'owka that the presence of anomaly in hydrodynamics with global U(1) symmetry can induce vortical and magnetic currents.

Versatile Cell Penetrating Peptide for Multimodal CRISPR Gene Editing in Primary Stem Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
CRISPR machinery in diverse molecular formats (DNA, RNA, and ribonucleic protein) is complexed into nanoparticles with the cell‐friendly arginine‐alanine‐leucine‐alanine (RALA) cell‐penetrating peptide. Nanoparticles are delivered to primary mesenchymal stem cells ex vivo or locally in vivo to facilitate multimodal CRISPR gene editing. This RALA‐CRISPR
