Hydrogen microstructure in hydrogenated amorphous silicon [PDF]
We present a method to determine the local hydrogen bonding structure in hydrogenated amorphous silicon from infrared spectroscopy measurements. This approach is based on a different oscillator strength and refractive index for hydrogen atoms located in the isolated and clustered phase.

Technical and Economic Viability of Underground Hydrogen Storage
Considering the mismatch between the renewable source availability and energy demand, energy storage is increasingly vital for achieving a net-zero future. The daily/seasonal disparities produce a surplus of energy at specific moments.

Prospects for hydrogen storage in graphene [PDF]
Hydrogen-based fuel cells are promising solutions for the efficient and clean delivery of electricity. Since hydrogen is an energy carrier, a key step for the development of a reliable hydrogen-based technology requires solving the issue of storage and transport of hydrogen.

Effects of hydrogen pressure on hydrogenated amorphous silicon thin films prepared by low-temperature reactive pulsed laser deposition [PDF]
We deposit intrinsic hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) thin films by reactive pulsed laser deposition, for various hydrogen pressures in the 0-20 Pa range, at a low deposition temperature of 120C, and investigate the hydrogen incorporation, structural, optical, and electrical properties of the films, as a function of the ambient hydrogen pressure.

The role of hydrogen in hot-salt stress corrosion cracking of titanium-aluminum alloys [PDF]
Additional support is presented for the previously proposed role of hydrogen as an embrittling agent in hot-salt stress corrosion cracking of titanium-aluminum alloys.

Solvatochromic probes for detecting hydrogen-bond-donating solvents [PDF]
Hydrogen bonding heavily influences conformations, rate of reactions, and chemical equilibria. The development of a method to monitor hydrogen bonding interactions independent of polarity is challenging as both are linked.
