Ethanol sprays to release grapevine bud dormancy: a potential alternative to cyanamides
Aim: Grape growers sometimes use cyanamides (calcium or hydrogen) to release bud dormancy in warm climate regions, where the chilling requirement has not been met during winter.

This review highlights the mechanistic regulation of *CO intermediates in electrocatalytic CO2 reduction to ethylene. Strategies including surface/structural engineering, valence tuning, interface modulation, and deoxygenation pathway control are systematically mapped to *CO generation, coupling, and transformation, offering guidance for mechanism ...

Systematic overview of pyrazole functionalization reactions from C‐5 to N−H. It covers different strategies, from traditional cross‐coupling of prefunctionalized pyrazoles to more efficient direct functionalizations. This review briefly and systematically overviews C–H and N–H functionalization reactions of pyrazoles, aimed at creating new CC and C ...

Drift measurements for conditions of hydrogen cyanamide spraying in kiwifruit
Kiwifruit are sprayed in late winter with hydrogen cyanamide to enhance with bud burst. The trellis layout of kiwifruit vines in combination with the canopy dormancy at that time of year means that a higher portion of the spray is able to drift away from the canopy.

Chemical thinning of flowers and fruits of the peach cultivar Coral with hydrogen cyanamide
: Chemical treatment is a mean to accomplish fruit thinning; although its efficiency depends on the compound used, application time, and dosage. Effect of the chemical hydrogen cyanamide (CH2N2) on the thinning of flowers and fruits of the peach cultivar
