Tin, The Enabler-Hydrogen Diffusion into Ruthenium. [PDF]
Hydrogen interaction with ruthenium is of particular importance for the ruthenium-capped multilayer reflectors used in extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography. Hydrogen causes blistering, which leads to a loss of reflectivity. This problem is aggravated by tin.

Diffusion of Muonium and Hydrogen in Diamond [PDF]
Jump rates of muonium and hydrogen in diamond are calculated by quantum transition-state theory, based on the path-integral centroid formalism. This technique allows us to study the influence of vibrational mode quantization on the effective free-energy barriers Delta F for impurity diffusion, which are renormalized respect to the zero-temperature ...

The Effect of Symmetrically Tilt Grain Boundary of Aluminum on Hydrogen Diffusion
High-strength aluminum alloys are widely used in industry. Hydrogen embrittlement greatly reduces the performance and service safety of aluminum alloys. The hydrogen traps in alumi-num profoundly affect the hydrogen embrittlement of aluminum.

Tensile Armor Wires Submitted to Slow Strain Rate Tests in a Corrosive Environment and Cathodic Protection: a Comparison Between Two Different Microstructures [PDF]
Tensile armor in flexible pipes consists of two or more layers of steel wires. Damage to the outer sheath may cause ingress of seawater in the annular space and thus corrosion of the armor wires.
