Nanocellulose, derived from microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) through sulfuric acid hydrolysis or mechanical grinding to produce CNC or CNF, was tested in a rat ICP model. Particularly, CNF improved gut microbiota composition, reduced secondary bile acid metabolism, and restored bile acid homeostasis through modulation of the gut–liver axis.

The ReAV enzyme from Rhizobium etli, a representative of Class 3 L-asparaginases, is sequentially and structurally different from other known L-asparaginases. This distinctiveness makes ReAV a candidate for novel antileukemic therapies.

Icariin promoted the growth of Akk by enhancing the activity of N‐acetylgalactosaminidase (Amuc_0920), which enhanced mucin utilization and provided a favorable nutrient environment for bacterial growth. This icariin‐mediated enrichment of Akk further reshaped the tumor microenvironment and promoted CD8+ T cell infiltration, ultimately synergizing with

Coenzyme A (CoASH) is an obligate cofactor for lipids undergoing b-oxidation in peroxisomes. Although the peroxisomal membrane appears to be impermeable to CoASH, peroxisomes contain their own pool of CoASH.

A Microbial Lipid‐ATP Synthase Axis Fuels NK Cell Antitumor Activity
This study focuses on the mechanism by which gut microbiota‐derived outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) regulate NK cell antitumor activity. B. intestinalis is identified to decrease extra‐intestinal tumor growth via its OMVs enriched in sphingosine (SP).

Properties of epoxide hydrolase from the yeast Rhodotorula glutinis
Epoxide hydrolases are ubiquitous enzymes that can be found in nearly all living organisms. Some of the enzymes play an important role in detoxifying xenobiotic and metabolic compounds.

Cloning and characterization of the first member of the Nudix family from Arabidopsis thaliana. [PDF]
The sequence motif commonly called a Nudix box, represented by (GX(5)EX(7)REVXEEXGU) is the marker of a widely distributed family of enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of a variety of nucleoside diphosphate derivatives. Here we describe the cloning and
