Fibrillar Templating of Hydrotalcites [PDF]
Layered double hydroxides also known as hydrotalcites have been synthesized in presence of fibrillar organic materials: human hair, cotton or nylon. These templates differ on their diameter, hydrophobicity and surface roughness. These parameters are correlated to the morphology and texture of the resulting hydrotalcites.

Addressing the challenges inherent in dry reforming of methane (DRM), this paper focuses on the structural design and performance optimization of Ni‐based catalysts. The modulation strategies for DRM are systematically reviewed across four dimensions: the micromorphology of active metals, metal‐support interactions, electronic modifications by ...

FTIR study of hydrotalcite [PDF]
Abstract The aim of the research was the study of aluminium-magnesium hydrotalcite by FTIR analysis and detection of differences in structure due to calcination. Three types of samples were analysed. In the first two samples, cobalt was added into the structure and the third sample contained nickel and zinc ...

Thermal decomposition of the hydrotalcite [PDF]
A combination of thermogravimetry and hot stage Raman spectroscopy has been used to study the thermal decomposition of the synthesised zinc substituted takovite Zn6Al2CO3(OH)16·4H2O. Thermogravimetry reveals seven mass loss steps at 52, 135, 174, 237, 265, 590 and ~780°C.
