Kinetic Model of Biphasic Character of Catalyse Inhibition
A mathematical model of kinetics of fungal catalase inhibition with hydroxylamine in presence of substrate (hydrogen peroxide) has been developed. The scheme includes an intermediate formation and slow reversible native enzyme production.

Pyrite/H2O2/hydroxylamine system for efficient decolorization of rhodamine B
To improve the efficiency of the Fe(II)/Fe(III) cycle and continuous reactivity of pyrite, a pyrite/H2O2/hydroxylamine (HA) system was proposed to treat rhodamine B (RhB).

Spores of Clostridium engineered for clinical efficacy and safety cause regression and cure of tumors in vivo. [PDF]
Spores of some species of the strictly anaerobic bacteria Clostridium naturally target and partially lyse the hypoxic cores of tumors, which tend to be refractory to conventional therapies. The anti-tumor effect can be augmented by engineering strains to

2-aminophenols containing electron-withdrawing groups from N-aryl hydroxylamines [PDF]
Reaction of substituted N-aryl hydroxylamines with methanesulfonyl chloride, p-toluenesulfonyl chloride, or trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride under basic conditions leads to the rearranged 2-aminophenols (45-94%).

The two-photon reversible reaction of the bistable jumping spider rhodopsin-1 [PDF]
Bistable opsins are photopigments expressed in both invertebrates and vertebrates. These light-sensitive G-protein-coupled receptors undergo a reversible reaction upon illumination.
