Catenoid inspired hyperbolic wormhole geometry

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We unveil a novel class of traversable wormholes exhibiting exact spherical symmetry, geometrically inspired by the minimal surface structure of a catenoid.

One-Parameter Hyperbolic Spatial Locomotions and Invariants of the Axode

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
In this paper, based on the E. Study map, direct appearances were sophisticated for one-parameter hyperbolic dual spherical locomotions and invariants of the axodes.

Hyperbolic Geometry of Superstring Perturbation Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The hyperbolic structure of the RNS formulation of perturbative superstring theory is explored, with the goal of providing a systematic method for explicitly evaluating both the on-shell and the off-shell amplitudes in closed superstring theory with ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Feature-enriched hyperbolic network geometry

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Graph-structured data provide an integrated description of complex systems, encompassing not only the interactions among nodes, but also the intrinsic features that characterize these nodes.

Critical Exponent and Hausdorff Dimension in Pseudo-Riemannian Hyperbolic Geometry [PDF]

open access: yesInternational mathematics research notices, 2016
The aim of this article is to understand the geometry of limit sets in pseudo-Riemannian hyperbolic geometry. We focus on a class of subgroups of $\textrm{PO}(p,q+1)$ introduced by Danciger, Guéritaud, and Kassel, called ${\mathbb{H}}^{p,q}$-convex ...

Development of a Prediction Model for Progression Risk in High‐Grade Gliomas Based on Habitat Radiomics and Pathomics

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the value of constructing models based on habitat radiomics and pathomics for predicting the risk of progression in high‐grade gliomas. Methods This study conducted a retrospective analysis of preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) images and pathological sections from 72 patients diagnosed with high‐grade gliomas (52 ...

The induced metric on the boundary of the convex hull of a quasicircle in hyperbolic and anti-de Sitter geometry [PDF]

open access: yesGeometry and Topology, 2019
Celebrated work of Alexandrov and Pogorelov determines exactly which metrics on the sphere are induced on the boundary of a compact convex subset of hyperbolic three-space.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Navigable maps of structural brain networks across species.

open access: yesPLoS Computational Biology, 2020
Connectomes are spatially embedded networks whose architecture has been shaped by physical constraints and communication needs throughout evolution. Using a decentralized navigation protocol, we investigate the relationship between the structure of the ...
