Objective Race and household income impact outcomes in patients with rheumatic conditions; however, their role in pediatric antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)–associated vasculitis (AAV) remains poorly understood. We aimed to evaluate whether race and ethnicity and household income are associated with severe AAV disease and renal outcomes among

The Krasnoselskii–Mann Method for Approximation of Coincidence Points of Set-Valued Mappings
In the present paper, we use the Krasnoselskii–Mann method in order to obtain approximate coincidence points of set-valued mappings in metric spaces with a hyperbolic structure.

Weak Capacity and Modulus Comparability in Ahlfors Regular Metric Spaces
Let (Z, d, μ) be a compact, connected, Ahlfors Q-regular metric space with Q > 1. Using a hyperbolic filling of Z,we define the notions of the p-capacity between certain subsets of Z and of theweak covering p-capacity of path families Γ in Z.We show ...

Anorectal Dysfunction in Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Phenotypes and Functional Patterns
Objective The aim of this study was to characterize specific physiologic defects in anorectal dysfunction in systemic sclerosis (SSc) using anorectal manometry (ARM), evaluate associations with gastrointestinal (GI) and extraintestinal clinical phenotypes, and explore potential serologic markers for risk stratification.

Cannon-Thurston maps for trees of hyperbolic metric spaces [PDF]
Let (X,d) be a tree (T) of hyperbolic metric spaces satisfying the quasi-isometrically embedded condition. Let v be a vertex of T . Let (Xv, dv) denote the hyperbolic metric space corresponding to v. Then i : Xv → X extends continuously to a map i^ : X^v

Path-integral complexity for perturbed CFTs
In this work, we formulate a path-integral optimization for two dimensional conformal field theories perturbed by relevant operators. We present several evidences how this optimization mechanism works, based on calculations in free field theories as well

Noncommutative hyperbolic metrics
Second version: expanded introduction, several modifications, including the definition of a new distance, a correction in Proposition 4.7, and a strengthening of the free probability results.

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

On the Gromov hyperbolicity of the minimal metric
AbstractIn this paper, we study the hyperbolicity in the sense of Gromov of domains in $$\mathbb {R}^d$$ R d $$(d\ge 3)$$ ( d ≥
